Chinese Farmer Makes Miniature Submarines


Zhang Wuyi a 37-year-old local farmer, who is interested in scientific inventions, has made six miniature submarines with several fellow engineers, a shipyard in Wuhan, Hubei province, China.

Land Diving In Vanuatu


Land diving is a ritual performed by the men of the southern part of Pentecost Island, Vanuatu that looks like Bungee Jumping. Men jump off of wooden towers around 20 to 30 metres (66 to 98 ft) high, with two tree vines wrapped around the ankles. Land diving is done without any safety equipment.The tradition has developed into a tourist attraction.

Weird Benches in Belgium


Relax – these twisted benches in De Haan Wenduine, Belgium, are not the insane innovation implemented by the municipal authorities. Danish artist Jeppe Hein created the “Modified Social Benches” as the project for the recent contemporary art event.
